This brand-new home is (January 2023) a short drive from the main resort facilities but coming in early 2023 is a second resort area, within walking distance with Pirate Ship Water Park Area with a second lazy river and resort pool – all included in your stay with Shine Villas!
These comprise some of the best resort facilities in Florida, including sports courts, resort pool, Children’s splash zone / pad areas pool slides, playgrounds and a gym as well as much more!
Be transported to Hogwarts in the downstairs gaming area with Air Hockey and Foosball, or kick back and watch one of the Harry Potter movies on the huge TV!
Upstairs enjoy a cinema experience with the Hard Rock loft area with 75 Inch TV, or game to your hearts content in the Marvel Avengers room with 4 ‘quad’ screens available for your devices.
All bedrooms have at least 1 x Large Smart TV for use with either free to air streaming services or your own streaming accounts! Both Downstairs Master King Bedrooms and the Primary Living Area also have a cable TV service.

Upstairs Bedrooms – Floor 2
3. ‘Rust’ King Bed Suite – Attached Jack and Jill bathroom shared with Bedroom 4 “Avatar” with walk in shower and double sink – sleeps 2.
4. “Avatar” 2 x full-sized (double) beds – Attached Jack and Jill bathroom shared with Bedroom 3 “Rust” with walk in shower and double sink. Sleeps up to 4.
5. “Star Wars” 2 x full sized beds. Sleeps up to 4.
6. “Marvel Avengers” 2 x Queen sized beds. 4 TV screens available for gaming – bring your playstations and X boxes! Fun for sleeping up to 4.
7. “Flowers” King bed suite – Attached Jack and Jill bathroom shared with Bedroom 8 “Mickey”. Walk in shower, double sink, and door to loft area as well as both bedrooms. Sleeps 2.

There is a further bathroom with shower over tub off the loft area upstairs.
Each bedroom has its own TV. Cable is available in the main living area and 2 master bedrooms with smart TVs and high speed wifi available all rooms.
This home has its own private pool and spa / hot tub (pool heating is available as an optional paid extra0 covered outdoor sitting space with outside dining space.
Fully equipped laundry and high speed free wi-fi are also included.
Linens, towels, and overnight/starter amenities will set you up before your first trip to restock the large Fridge and Freezer in this self-catering paradise.
The pool and hot tub in this home can be heated on request and is an optional extra. It can be heated for a minimum of 5 consecutive days ($175 plus tax) and the cost for heat is $35 for each night plus tax. If during the course of your stay, you decide to purchase pool heat, then there is an additional charge to cover the cost of sending out a technician to activate the system which is $40.Pool heating efficiency can vary significantly according to the ambient temperature and a heated pool will never feel ‘hot’ to enter. Contact us for more information on how this works!
Heating can be requested for any length of stay with $175 plus tax being the minimum payment (which includes the first 5 days) then $35 plus taxfor additional days. We recommend adding pool heat to your reservation during the winter and spring months. Booked at least 24 hours prior to arrival, there will be no activation fee. Where booked later than this or closer to arrival, an activation fee may apply.
A BBQ grill with a new propane tank can be rented for your use please ask for more information about grill options. Charcoal and personal grills are not allowed for insurance / safety purposes.

Naturally, with a modern, high end resort property, a fully-equipped kitchen with appliances stone counter tops and all the appliances you might need for a resort stay. High-speed Internet Wi-Fi access of course and cable TV, linens and towels as well as a starter selection hotel style bathroom amenities to get you going on your self catered trip.
Noteworthy but not exhaustive:-
Entrance to Storey Lake is secured by gate and guardhouse.
There are no fees for clubhouse use (which includes fitness center, resort pool, hot tub, kiddie splash pad, half basketball court, sand volleyball, lazy river, tiki bar and ice cream shop!).
Additional Pirate Ship second resort and lazy river facility opens on 17th December 2022!
Kayaking and mini-golf are available for a small charge.
Some common questions answered about Storey Lake Resort!
- Are the resort pools and Lazy RIver heated year round?
Absolutely! All pools and the lazy river are heated all year round!
- What are the pool hours?
The pools are usually open at 9 am and close at 9 pm daily. In the event of storms or lighting they can close temporarily.
- What are the minimum height restrictions for the waterslides?
Riders must be at least 36 inches tall and only one rider at a time.
- Are there activities at the Resort?
Yes and the activities change monthly!
Does the Mini-Golf and Kayaking cost extra?
- Mini-golf at the time of writing is $5/kids and $7/adults. Kayak rental is $15/30 mins or $20/hour. Sometimes there are specials too.
- What time does the Tiki Bar and Ice Cream Shop open/close?
They open at 11 am and close 8 pm daily.
- What time does the Clubhouse open/close?
9 am – 9 pm daily.
- What time does the Fitness Center open/close?
5 am – 12 am daily.
The occupancy limit for this property does 24 hours a day and only occupants listed on the agreement may attend the home. All reservations require completion of an electronically signed rental agreement, agreeing to the conditions of the rental which includes that no parties are permitted at this home and the community operates quiet hours outside after 9PM.
ID is required to access the community. Guests are required to provide identification in the form of an ‘ID selfie', confirm the names and ages of all adults who will be attending the property, verify payment method where applicable and that they are the card holder, as well as completing a signed rental agreement’. Child names (not ages) are also required for entrance into the community. This check-in / pre arrival information must be completed within 24 hours of placing the reservation or prior to arrival (which-ever is the sooner’).
The primary booker must be 25 years or older (we are unable to accommodate groups of primarily under 25 year olds or those from the local vicinity) this is part of the HOA and our commitment to no parties or events. However, family groups with Children aged 0 -110 are always welcome!

Oli reached out the day before our arrival to let us know there was an issue with the AC in the unit we had initially reserved, and she already had a plan in place and upgraded us without any extra charge. It couldn't have been easier!
I reached out to Oli during the trip about not being able to find balls for the foosball table, and she immediately messaged back to let me know she'd ordered more and that they were on the way! She was incredibly responsive and accommodating. The location was stunning and the amenities offered are amazing. We loved the private pool, access to the community pool and lazy river, and the tranquil location with views of the local natural wildlife. Perfect access to Disney parks and Universal! Check in was very easy. Oli sent a message with check in codes and anything we may need to know. The gate you use your QR Code and it was super easy and didn't take long to get through.
The house was clean and at my standards. I usually use my own blankets and I used what was provided. There was only a few things that were fixed in a fast manner which is understandable for a rental. This did not cause any issues for us.
We went and played mini golf at the clubhouse. Then we took our son over to play basketball and he played with families that are from the neighborhood. The facility was clean!
Check out was easy and we were not expected to do anything as for cleaning up.
I would stay at Oli's place again!

by SheriWhat a beautiful place!! Each room has a theme and is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is spectacular! It is exceptionally well appointed. It is open and spacious and equipped was absolutely everything you could possibly need. The patio area, pool, and spa were fantastic. I am glad we splurged on heating them. It overlooks an unspoiled inland water area with a walking trail. There is a wide variety of colorful (big) birds and even a resident alligator (who kept entirely to himself). Coffee on the patio in the morning is spectacular. The villa is so spacious that all family members have their own private space and three large common spaces where everyone can do their own thing. You could not ask for a better host than Oli. He was super responsive, proactive, and helpful. I had so many questions before the trip, and he answered every one of them promptly and thoroughly. I would love to stay there again and again!

Spacious and Quiet!

The kitchen was well equiped for the most part, we could've used a couple extra bowls, pots, and pans for cooking. Having a washer and dryer on site was super convenient! We also enjoyed all the amenities including pool, hot tub, food and drink bar, lazy river, water slides. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Plenty of Space!
We were moms and daughters traveling to Orlando for volleyball. Great house, plenty of space for everyone to have their own room and rest, great amenities for the kids during their afternoons free. Close to shopping and entertainment.
